We bet our business on this high-quality peat. It's so good that we're not afraid to sell it. So here, have a dirtbag. We mixed in perlite for good aeration (one part peat, one part medium grade perlite).
You can't reliably propagate on hardware store peat moss, which is marketed as a soil amendment - who knows what's in it. Maybe they added fertilizer to it.
Usable for Sarracenia and many other carnivorous plants such as fly traps, sundews, and bladderworts.
